Sam naturally gravitated toward the Fujifilm brand due to the ergonomic and tactile design of the cameras. They felt natural to use and the brand stood strong for the concept of pure photographic storytelling. Sam's knowledge with the gear proved extremely useful and served as a foundation for his ability to undertake the task at hand. The two years spent at Fujfilm provided an immense amount of growth for Sam, both from a business and creative perspective.
Projects for Fujifilm included short user experience style videos, profile style videos and high quality marketing material for the marketing team to utilise in and amongst campaigns. The YouTube content he created upheld everything that Fujifilm stood for, that being traditional photographic storytelling. On top of this he was able to provide a variety of photographic content for the team to utilise.
The underlying vision for Sam's Fujifilm based content was and continues to focus toward upholding an underlying emotive story across time periods. Slowing down and appreciating the little things were key attributes of the content, especially when taking behind the scenes imagery. Sam often treated photographic equipment as characters, and this flowed through to the imagery that was presented with a vast amount of life shining through.
Following the Fujifilm chapter, Sam has discovered a number of strength's that flow through to all facets of life, whether that be creative, or business.
A true storyteller at heart.
